That was just because some corp. genius visionary knew someday, we could get a Toady with that name on a shaving forum "Word Association" thread. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Fri 7th June Simpson Chubby 1 / Maggaeds 2Band EJ Cooling Menthol Schick N3 Schick Twin - Japan [ 12 ] Alcolado Glacial A/S Splash I am continuing Shaves with Twin Blades using the elegant N3. I prefer the shape of the head to the bulkier ones on the L , and of course the more ergonomic handle. I think it Shaves better but perhaps I am biased. Today had first use of this EJ cream [ borrowed from son ] , the menthol feel and scent is good throughout the Shave The Shave itself was nice and smooth with the usual top quality finish that I get with the N3. Finished off the Shave with a Menthol splash a real face tingler.
Friday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Morning TOST Jayaruh #340 Badger Kampfe/Star Lather Catcher CVS CS CWR Aqua Velva Musk AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Morning TOST Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 badger brush. I did two passes with the Kampfe/Star Lather Catcher razor with a CVS CS blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Schick M1 Adjustable razor Personna blade Omega 10066 boar brush More for You Shave Soap Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Pinaud Citrus Musk cologne Just received the "More for You" shave soap from Turkey. Smell Arko'ish but not nearly as strong. Lathered easily and did a fine job providing cushion/glide. Think I like it but will use it a bit more to be sure. But my face is happy and that's a good sign. Now go enjoy your day folks
Friday June 7th shave Really enjoyed this Shovelhead shave! It has the large shoulder where the handle screws into the head. Thus provides a bit more head weight and allows for the head to rest on my face effortlessly. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
It is made by wheat state soaps, but I got it in a trade and have not looked for it for sale. Justin Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Ever Ready 1914 variant 2 with patent info on catcher, Gem Stainless Steel PTFE blade, shave 1. Decided to switch up from injectors for a shave or so with a razor I haven't used yet. As it turns out I've used this type of razor before. This razor is a dead ringer for an Autostrop specifically a C model the way it shaves. Shaves like a C but performs like a B1 since the shave is much closer than any C model strop I've used. Lot of blade feel but ultimately a mild and smooth shave as long as you take your time and don't rush it or else this razor will bite you. As much as I like my Autostrops this razor may have supplanted all the C model ones since it doesn't need a proprietary blade for starters.
