Once again, it has been a busy week, so my post has been nonexistent. I hope everyone has been doing well. My son has been playing baseball tournaments the past two Saturdays, and shaving doesn't work well those days, so I skipped yesterday. With two days of growth, the Damaskeene did a great job of knocking everything down for a DFS. This is a nice scent of which my wife approves. It was a great start to my Sunday. I hope everyone has a great day!
  5. It is amazing at how things just sneak up on you at times.
  6. Great shave and picture, Jim! Cool effect!

I am moving a little slow today after having a little too much fun playing bachelor yesterday. On the positive side, I did get a lot of polish on the Alpha 400 brush completed. I only have an hour or so left on the second ferrule to be finished. I have a Druida Manchurian knot for one ferrule. I had planned on transplanting an Omega boar knot but after reading @Linuxguile and @jluc sing the praises of Maggard knots I changed my mind. At least I managed to get in managed to get my shower and shave in before noon. Three passes ending in a near BBS shave is not bad considering the way my head feels. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
  9. Thank you, Jim!
  10. Thank you, Clint! The games have been fun, but it has been hot. They took second place the first tournament, and got the first seed in the bracket for yesterday's tournament. Unfortunately, they started the semifinal game with a few bad plays and never recovered. My son is learning a lot and having fun, so that is the best part.
    Beautiful picture!

  13. With a sharp drop in the temperature for a couple days this week, I actually found myself bringing out Clubman, and the Central Texas Grandpa's Barbershop soap. That'll come probably Thursday. AgadirMen Oud Wood A.S. is ready, too. This can't happen for much longer(well until October)thus I need to "get it all in".
  14. If I missed it, DETAILS!
    Morning TOST soap?
    Who made it?
    Scent?
    Ingredients?
Mark - I'll have an option on that Stirling soap shortly, possibly, when The 2019 Traveling Box reaches me. Is it strong on the black liquorice/licorice? How's the menthol level?

For anyone interested, there's already a discussion about The Box Round Two. For those uninformed, it's a box of assorted gear including soap, razors & blades, brushes, and other gear going from trusted member to member. When it's your turn, you spread it out, take a photo, and try out items, scoop samples, and choose your keepers. Within a week you put the remaining stuff back in the box and add something of a similar value as the gear you choose. Cost about $20 to ship to the next Member. There's been talk about getting The Box across the Canadian border so our Northern neighbors can play, too.

  20. Thank you Jim. I think I’ll like the SHD. Of course I had to add another soap to the cart for free shipping. Decided to try B&M Bay Rum.
