I'm with Boru on this...I think it's more of an individual razor thing...Ex. I had two ER 1914s, one with the flat tops to the curves of the comb and one with the rounded. Both had the same exposure. The flat comb top was definitely more aggressive than the curved. The one, was more aggressive than my MM or my ER 1924 and the other, was about like a 1912. Yet both were 1914s...ERs that is...now since the Star Super Six and Improved Stoll are 1914s too, I have to differentiate...... I'm going to grab my second shave with this Stoll Shovelhead right now and get back here with a review. Suffice it to say, last night was a diffinitive 2 pass BBS. No questions asked! Mon 10th June RazoRock Syn. 24mm Speick Active soap Alu. General/ Claymore Handle Schick Proline [ 3 ] Pitralon Original A/S Lotion As much as I enjoy my Shaves with Vintage SE/ Injectors, there is no doubt that for me the AC bladed modern SE Razors deliver excellent trouble free Shaves. Today aided by the Speick lather the nicely weighted Alu General provided me with a really relaxed Shave, with a superb close all round finish.
