    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Astra Green day 2
    Stirling Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo SS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB
    B&M Arctique AS Splash

Because of the surge of hot weather over the weekend I went all-out with the menthol and I used some of my coldest stuff. Even the mentholated pre shave soap from Stirling has a nice cooling effect, and it cleans the skin so thoroughly while softening up the stubble, and it’s very moisturizing. The Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap’s magnificent scent filled my bathroom, it gave me tons of rich, slick, beautiful lather, and the menthol sensation was so frigid that it almost felt painful. (in a good way!) The Glacial Unscented balm and the Arctique aftershave gave me such perfect soothing and brought the freeze to another level. This shave was so enjoyable as well as 100% BBS!

A bit cool day and I didn't know which soap to use.
The skin a little stressed wanted something fat. The Soaps of Drughet that I possess have winter fragrances; only later I remembered that it is not true!

By now the choice had fallen on the MWF which is, practically, a scentless.

The marriage between a delicate machine and a sharp blade was, as always in these circumstances, excellent.

  13. Stahly/BIC. The Gonzo vibrating head can at times be disconcerting, especially on the hard skull, but I gotta say the results might be the best I've seen with the Stahly. Cuckoo closeness given how mild this razor feels.[IMG]

    More for You Shave Soap
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Barbasol Brisk A/S w/added menthol

2nd use of the More for You shave soap and it went just fine. Lathered easily and gave me a rich creamy protective lather that I liked a lot. All the other parts worked well together and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

    Menthol Monday's Shave
    zcws.jpg

    Cold Water Rinse
    Fine Snake Bite
    Jayaruh #273 Synthetic
    AutoStrop A1
    Valet AutoStrop
    CWR
    Osage Rub

I stropped the blade before and after the shave. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Fine Snake Bite Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #273 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop A1 razor with a Valet AutoStrop blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
