    June 11 SOTD:

    Razor: Karve Christopher Bradley
    Blade: Rapira PL
    Brush: Ever-Ready 150
    Lather: Speick Shave Stick
    Aftershave: Fine Fresh Vetiver
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

    It was another nice shave to start my day after a little gym session. The Karve is such a smooth razor, and when paired with some Speick, it does a great job. After two passes, I had a DFS. A little Fine Fresh Vetiver finished the great shave, and I am off to work. I hope everyone has a great day!

    Still playing bachelor so I kept hitting snooze this morning. Today is my 30th Wedding Anniversary. I still can't believe she said yes much less put up with me all these years. She tells me frequently that each Clint year is 10 normal years. I know that I got the better end of this deal. We will celebrate later this summer when things settle down some for both of us.

    The hardware and software worked well together. Three passes ended in a drama free BBS shave. A splash of the Shiloh aftershave and I am off to my office for the day. I hope everyone has a fantastic Tuesday .

    WWB 2 Band Badger
    Castle Forbes Lavender SC
    Feather AC DX (kamisori style)
    Feather Pro Soft Guard
    Castle Forbes Lavender AS Balm

    DFS all around today. Zero hiccups. The kamisori setup and super sharp blades...pure awesomeness. Worked a little different today...used slightly more pressure. Not completely sure why, but the confidence doing that with the Feather vs. my straights was prominent this morning. Resulted in only 1 pass needed on the cheeks, chin, mouth, nose and all trim areas. 2 passes for the left lower neck, N-S and then S-N , and finally 3 passes on the lower right neck. Added a XTG S-N pass, and some serious skin stretching.....Voila, DFS achieved there also.

    All the supplies got it done nicely. Slick, smooth and creamy lather, easy to rinse off the blade. The CF balm....almost too balmy for me, but it works, has a great skin feel and scent. Zero irritation and feedback.

    Now....to replicate this shave result with each of my straights.

    Happy Anniversary to you and Swati, Clint! 30 years is a tremendous milestone, so huge congrats are in order. I believe you're supposed to gift her with a diamond. :)
