Since acquiring a bottle of Acqua di Parma Colonia EdC and only having a small amount of the the AdP soap, I added this to my den yesterday. (Toss up between RR XXX and the Stirling. Stirling won)
Best of luck with your surgery. My guess and hope is that you will do just fine left handed. I am right handed as well but have tremors in my right hand so I've been shaving left handed (no tremors in my left hand) for years with no problems. If I can do it anyone can. Good luck.

The "2019 Tony Awards" are over.....well that's nice. Now let's get back to the STOYLIN Tonys....that'swhatI'mtalkinabout.
Hey, good luck with the NB! Y'know, I'm just planning on two more purchases this year(after the Stoylin bath soaps come). I"m thinking about a NB2020, thus just in case, I'll put in the Stoylin 2020 Tony winner order between Christmas and New Year's(that is, immediately after I announce the champion and runner-up), and one order from another company, which I'll make around late August or September(it's for the fall&winter season). Actually, also "just in case" I feel confident about a NB2020, I'll put in for some Clubmen, too,so let's make that 3 orders before 2020 arrives.
I had a most enjoyable face freezing shave from the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap yesterday. The Glacial Unscented balm felt plenty frigid also and so soothing!
Thanks for the "preface" shave(I call it that since I'm getting set to get going on it(probably next week sometime).

Thanks Paul. So far I'm hanging tough with the NB and I'm hoping I can make it all the way...but it is tough
Well I have the first 30 hrs behind me. Apparently things were more torn up than expected, but the surgery was a success.............according to the surgeon. I quickly learned that the ice machine is my friend, and that 5mg of oxy every six hours wasn’t working but 10 mg every four is. The whiskers are growing at a steady pace, but I won’t worry about that until I get a few more days behind me. I’m thinking Lemony Orange might get the honors when the time comes.
Glad the surgery went well. Please try to wean yourself off the oxy as soon as you can. Years back I had a series of procedures where I learned that a physical addiction would begin to take root in a couple of days. After the first night I slept through, I woke up with everything aching and a nauseated feeling. 10 min after my morning oxy, I was fine. Miraculous pain control I would not have wanted to be without, just remain aware. Think I'll use Lemony Orange today as my tribute to your recovery. Be well.
