I just give my damp brush a few swirls then lather it on my face . I do that with all soaps.

I also have strops with poly web and I am happy with using them. Poly web has the same use as linen., it is just a matter of personal taste.

TGIF Shave: Decided some bling is order since next week I will be on vacation. I do enjoy shaving with the Ed Brice, it is hard to see but is also has a smile.

The feeling of the blade on my face is an important guide for me when using an open blade, so I gave up soaps with heavy menthol. Today's shave had just enough 'feel' so I will see if can keep using this soap with my straights.

Well, I chose the wrong items for my shave today. With nothing at all against Chiseled Face, it was cool-ish enough today for me to go with Clubman or AgadirMen, or a Stoylin,,. Course it wouldn't have made a "dent" in either, today appeared to ask for one of them. Maybe there will be a chilly day in July(right, snowball's chance in h..l)
