SOTD 20190617. J&T® mansonia wood / OUMO Brush Motherlode. Vulfix "Sandalwood" shaving cream (sample). Timeless Ti 0.68 OC / Stork Ti Anaconda" handle. Voskhod Teflon (5). Loris "So Oud" EdP. The little bowl on the photograph has an outer diameter of 10 cm. The test: little shaving bowl or little bowl for nuts ? Conclusion: The little bowl can be used as a little shaving bowl - but it will be messy. So I'll go for the nuts ... ;-)

Monday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Sheep Soap: Coate’s Sandalwood Cream Razor: Maggard V2 Open Comb Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1) Brush: Maggard Synthetic-24mmx56mm Aftershave: Anucci Sport EdT WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) Coate’s Sandalwood Cream today. 10 seconds to load the Maggard Synthetic brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new Gillette Silver Blue in the Maggard V2 Open Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Anucci Sport EdT. Bob
Menthol Monday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Eskimo Tuxedo Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar AutoStrop B1 Valet AutoStrop (6) CWR Osage Rub My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Eskimo Tuxedo Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop B1 razor with a Valet AutoStrop blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Good morning kids! Here’s my Menthol Monday SOTD: Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Gillette day 2 Stirling Gin & Tonic on the Rocks SS Lucky Tiger ASB Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Bleu de Chanel EdP After using some fantastic creams almost all of last week I wanted to get back into my great mentholated soaps so I selected this Gin & Tonic on the Rocks and I’m so happy I did. Man oh man, its scent is beautiful, it gave me amazing lather, and the menthol effect felt wonderful. The Lucky Tiger balm is so similar to the Prep in scent as well as the cooling, and the Alcolado Glacial froze me good. Two passes resulted in an A1 BBS shave. By the way this Gillette blade seems to perform really well - no complaints about it so far!
