Monday again so its back to work. The Frozen Mojitos soap smells fantastic and works even better. I do wish it had a touch more cooling. Three passes and touch ups ended up with the baby in hand. A couple of operator errors caused some weepers on my chin. Overall a very good shave. A splash of Myrsol Limon and I am off to work. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

  6. I still have plenty of soap to work through (18 more Arko sticks, a puck of MWF and Stirling Electric sheep in reserve), but I will be out of shave cream. Even though Arko is quick, I like having a tube of cream on hand.

I will just need to figure out what to get based on when it gets finished.

  10. Well thank you @wristwatchb :). I feel additionally honored since you used Bigelow....Bigelow ("Biggie")is a distant relative from my mom's side. I think she's still alive but my aunt(Mom's sister)would know for sure. Speaking of my Mom, it was exactly a year ago today when we scattered her ashes on a Colorado mountainside.

  12. Why thank you, brit....that's right, every Friday, I "make fun of" Ringo Starr's classic "No No Song". :).

Stirling Glacial Wintergreen~~Simpson KH4~~Boker Red-Injun~~Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB
Second, recently-honed razor. Mos Def improvement starting to show itself with regard to my honing skills.
Don't worry @gssixgun I will NEVER be in your league.;)
I am still uncomfortable using only one hand to hone. My sense is that I am unable to keep the blade
flat on the stone, so I am compelled to stabilize the razor with my left hand.
    Today's menthol lather would have given Jeff's @Yehuda D face a good-old freeze.
I have mentioned this on another forum (one with more snooty members) that if
Stirling changed their packaging and increased their prices by 200%, everyone and their mothers
would be proclaiming this soap the next, great, high-end artisan product.
    90% paintbrush strokes---face-lathered, produced a glaringly-shiny, eye-watering, slick as s**t-thru-a-goose
foundation for the Boker to work its magic.
Went for three passes today. No nicks, cuts, passing home, irritation resulting in a darn-near

BBS shave. Couple of pesky areas on the neck, where the hair grows literally parallel to my skin.
It only gets completely removed when I haven't shaved for 3+ days. That is a rare occurrence.
Finished with my favorite unscented balm. This stuff is a mos def repurchase.

  14. I had Wintergreen for my first FREEZING shave soap. I wasn't much of a fan, but it was NICE AND COLD for the humidity here. My initial reaction(and perhaps the next 4 or 5 until it became one with my face&neck) was the following" EEEEEEEIIIIOOOOOOOOOOHHHHWOWWWWW!!!"
