Decided on a quick DE shave today, but when I opened the cabinet door, an 8/8 W&B just called me. For some reason I gravitated towards Soapy Science, which I don’t pick up very often. It doesn’t call me with the repetition that some of my other soaps do, but I don’t know why. The lather was spectacular today! Thanks, Keith. I’m looking for you to pass on finishing wisdom to me in STL. When you do, please post what you learn, Blair. I’m interested in your results. Now that’s just funny. We live in parallel universes, my friend! Did you sit in it, or secretly rebuild it yourself? +1. I have soaps that may qualify as more “fancy pants” then Stirling, but to say that it is mediocre is just ignorant. Stirling is a great soap. If Rod charged twice as much, and/or put out only limited releases of his soap, these same people would suddenly believe it was “top tier”. In my opinion, it’s a Cadillac with Chevy pricing.
