Thanks, Jim! I am a Proraso newbie! Stirling is still my number one brand, but Proraso is a nice change. It's my only mentholated soap, so it will change things up for me this summer.
Almond? Look into Klar. German quintuple milled hard soap. Comes in a small aluminum strew top tub, last a loong time, and has the most intense almond scent I've met. Good choice of S.O, too! Thank Danny! I noticed the silver/chrome units with the logo, and now the gold ones have it too. I got there just in time to avoid that issue.

OK, I may have worded my response a little harshly. I just get a bit tired of the hipsters confusing expensive and trendy with quality. Exactly. Isn’t it a little late in the day to be asking that question?
Thank you Patrick. I was afraid Joseph was going to get away with a solo. Your list of questions was what I was thinking, but you did a better job of throwing them on the table. Nope, evening shaves are very enjoyable. No AM rush with the clock ticking, others fighting to get bathroom time, thoughts of the day ahead to distract from the task at hand. The right time to shave is when you have stubble and time. This song intro always gives me goose bumps.
