    SOTD triple post:
Todays SOTD post is three posts in one, i haven't had time to post individual one's this past week or so.

SOTD 1:. A beautiful shave with uncle Jon's pipe smoke, this stuff is absolutely fantastic, and a great performer for sure. Lathers like an absolute bomb, and very slick too. The scent is absolutely remarkable.

    Razor: Wilkinson sword TTO
    Blade: personna lab blue (10)
Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave premium
    Soap: uncle Jon's pipe smoke
    Aftershave balm: prep

SOTD 2: a fantastic shave with the boots cream, this stuff is one of the slickest creams ive used, and works well as long as you use the correct amount, a large almond sized blob works best for me for three passes. An absolutely fantastic cream.

    Razor: Wilkinson sword TTO
    Blade: personna lab blue (11)
Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave premium
    Cream: boots cool colgne
    Aftershave balm: prep

SOTD 3: A much better performance from the proraso sapone than i remember, the menthol was absolutely perfect strength wise, and although i still say proraso lacks slickness, it gave me a perfect shave and it has excellent protection, it definitely deserves a re evaluation after my last review where i was quite critical of its performance.

    Razor: Wilkinson sword TTO
    Blade: personna lab blue (12)
Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave premium
    Soap: proraso sapone (green)
    Aftershave Balm: prep[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Well, the party may be coming to an end(in Aisle 12)....now my face and neck ARE beginning to feel like an egg can be fried on either. That combination must wait until autumn now. I have ONE more that I'll try, which I think could also qualify for an Aisle 12 summer party. Ahh, maybe two. Clubman's great....but it must wait.....BURMA SHAVE!

Pulled out the Gentleman and Unconditional Surrender for Tobacco Tuesday this morning. Still going with the E3 for the 'basics' focus, but I may abandon it for a few days as I got in two new vintage toys- a Single Ring and a Goodwill. Put some pics in the Haul thread. Do I need any more vintage Gillettes? No, of course not (well, unless it is a '34 OC Crat), but a fellow Denizen was selling these off and I thought 'why not?' as I love their cousins- the ball end Old Type and the NEW LC.
Whipped up a very rich lather this morning. SWMBO walked in to the bathroom as I was lathering pass #2. Was a snide comment about the Gentleman's scent forthcoming? You could have cut the tension with a Sayuri... Not a single word! Has she become a fan? Has she merely resigned herself to my enjoyment of it? Who cares, I'll take it.
A very nice 3 pass'er, but the blade is done. Finishing with this CL splash is always a good idea.
    Have a great day, all!

This pic is symbolic of everything that is great about your photos, Clint. Beautiful gear, painstakingly maintained, simply presented, expertly photographed and beautifully backdropped.
