I have a couple of toys parked in the garage with manual transmissions and I love them. They are a blast to drive but for my daily driver I'll take an automatic all day every day. My last truck had an automatic and seventeen years in, other than fluid and filter changes it hasn't been touched. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
So....an hour and a half lunch produced this from the original black rubber handled kami (rubber literally disintegrated). Some grinding, polishing, then wrapping. Will attempt honing traditional grind tonight.
Just in, I ordered this Kamisori razor with money I got for Fathers Day. It came with 10 blades. I will give it a go on Saturday Straights day.
If that is a Univinlions throw the blades away and get some Feather AC blade. The razor is great but the blades ain't. I really enjoy mine.
Those manual trannies are nearly Anti-Theft Devices. Huge percentage of the population hasn't learned about the third pedal. Glad you spoke up Danny. I was going to warn Jim he ought to order some Feather Artist Club blades. The Professional variation works well in my Univinlions kami-shavette. Plenty of blade reveal. Other options are the Guard type or the shorter blades that don't stick out so far. For a SR user, the Pro's are the way to go in my opinion.
Today I got 2 full glass bottles of Brut Dominant, 10 Gem Stainless Steel SE blades and 5 PAL SE blades. I’m still waiting on the UPS driver to deliver my Clubman Citrus Musk aftershave later today.
Grew up on a three on the tree. 1977 c10, 6 cylinder and three speeds and that was all. No a/c, power steering or anything else.
The result of (un)self control, free shipping at $65, Master Enabling, and being on the 30DC thread.....I'm sure it'll eventually kick in from some of the posts here as well (but I can guarantee it won't be a truck!!!).
