It's the Real Thing. Says so on the handle. Long handle it is too, though quite smooth and a little slippery. I found it to be mild, and I lean toward more efficient razors. ...I would have taken it for a test shave. Either 2011 or '13 though I'd like to try the '11. I hear they are close shavers.
