Thanks, Gary. No, the razors do not feel the exact same. I kind of thought they would based on the baseplates, but the different top cap and differently weighted handle do make a difference. I will do a side by side with the NEW LC and the Goodwill 160 top caps to see if they change the blade angle at all as well. I believe that these 160s used the NEW LC baseplate, but re-tooled them to accept other blades from the standard 3 hole blade that was being phased out. Other Goodwills used the Old Type baseplate and modified them similarly. The different top caps were all unique to Goodwills, I think. Others on here will know far more than me on these...
that's cool ..other than my obsessive flat bottom tech collection i have tried to have at least one of every different shave types, even if minor..
i agree..i like the british crats because of their weight at 82 grams ..the 3 piece razors are more fun as you can swap handles and change weights..
Very nice Gary Thanks Danny. She was very happy to see the lawn cut when she arrived home. Great shave Joseph I miss those guys .
SOTD June 19th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap EDRIO #82 Leresche #34 Kmart Super Stainless Maseto Shaving Classic (30mm, Cruiser Class) Oleo Soapworks Empire soap and AS Absolutely amazing shave this morning. Over time I've gravitated toward more aggressive razors and the Leresche from France fits the bill nicely. It's like a Gillette Single Ring on steroids. Lots of blade feel and I love it! Wonderfully slick lather from the Oleo Canard Base with fantastic post shave feel and medium-high scent strength. Empire is a scent dupe of Dior Sauvage and it smells wonderful. My wife always notices when I use Empire and always has a positive reaction to it! Have a great day my friends! Hump day! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Great pitcure and I love the Leresche. Declan is playing "daddy pull my toe" game! He is a growing boy!
