Thur 20th June Cyril Salter/ Maseto ED. 2band P & B Spitfire Occams V2-No 2 plate Feather Pro [ 2 ] P & B Spitfire A/S Splash My second outing with this Razor. The handle may look odd, but having used DE/ Vintage SE/Injectors all with different handles I have no problems adapting to its use, and it is not at all slippy. The Shave as yesterday was really smooth, and without any problems the finish attained was again Top Notch. I think Injector users would feel at home with the Occams, as it Shaves rather like one.
TOST Thursday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Morning TOST Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar AutoStrop B1 Valet AutoStrop (9) CWR Pinaud Lilac Vegetal My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Vintage Life Morning TOST Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop B1 razor with a Valet AutoStrop blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Fri 21st June The Grosvenor [404]-mixed Vitos Super Red Occams SE, V2- No2 plate Feather Pro [ 3 ] Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion Now 3 Shaves in with this Razor, and aided by the Vitos this is by far the best Shave so far, a real Face Stroker and the first two were not too shabby. Its looks might not be to everyones liking , but as a functional Razor it really works. Shame that the suppliers pricing varies quite dramatically, would maybe better if they settled for a middle of the road price. But as far as modern AC/ SE Razors go this one certainly delivers a truly superb all round finish.

Sat 22nd June Jayaruh no67 MWF Occams V2/plate 2 Feather Pro [ 4 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion Still continuing my trials with the Occams Razor, and using tried and tested ingredients like the MWf, am getting trouble free Shaves, with Top Notch finishes. It is very hard convey just how good this Razor is, but it is allowing me to shave against the grain in areas where other Razors would baulk. I have heard likened to a Spud Peeler in looks, but for me it really delivers a superb quality finish.
Today my A1 provided the festivities!! This beauty is built like a Sherman Tank and has no idiosyncrasies....It's intuitive and simply delivers the best shaves possible in one or two passes!
