We would like to build a vacation place there someday. We are at the top of the subdivision so even fully developed this will be our view. The property is about 15 miles from the Lake Fontana Marina, 13 mile or so to downtown Bryson City and about 20 miles to Nantahala Rafting center. We wanted a place with things to do as well, so that some day the girls and their families can use it to enjoy the property.
Beautiful Clint! We love that area as well. You could always build a TSD assisted living facility for us to use in the future. Imagine this group around the tables playing dominoes.
My guess is we will not build on the land at all at this point. We will likely give it to the girls to build or sale.
Terrific picture, Joseph! I wish I could say the same about the humidity. It is currently 91 degrees about 70% humidity for a heat index of about 106. And, it is only 10:30.
For the first time in a while, a Fatboy shave on "Fatboy Friday". Same setup as the last few days... F2 Fatboy and an X3 Spoiler for a great shave.
I'm still 60+ messages behind, a visitor coming imminent, and stuff to get done, but with the positive vibes on the Single Ring I called my supplier. He's not in yet so a visit may happen later today. Had good interactions with this guy and he'll take trades for other interesting vintage "stuff". Checking back in later! Will do Jim!

SOTD June 21st Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap EDRIO #83 Gillette New Improved Kmart Super Stainless (3) DSC Sunburst (26mm Elite Razors Manchurian White, Frigate Class) Stirling Glacial Lemony Orange soap and AS Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB I finally got around to setting my Elite Razor's Manchurian White knot in a handle. Soft tips, but not gel tips. Good backbone and flow through but it did have a little bit of scritch to it. Given these qualities and it's higher price I would rank it below the Maggard SHD and the Turn N Shave Tip knot. The New Improved is the most aggressive vintage Gillette that I own. It has no problem wiping my stubble away but I think I got a little heavy handed in a couple of spots and had some residual irritation.
