I can’t believe how I managed to get such a great shave with a blade that’s ready for the garbage can but I did it somehow. It took three passes and a lot of touching up. The Kudu soap felt damned cold, especially during the second and third passes and the lather was so thick and meringue-like with that beautiful coffee/peppermint scent and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The Prep gave me its awesome moisturizing and soothing, while the Max Refreshing aftershave from Bulgaria went on icy-cold with hardly any sting. BBS as BBS could be!

I live in Acton now . To get to 495 I drive through Littleton. Nice towns.

Route 66 Bourbon Jungle today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor Manchurian White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Silver Blue still in the Maggard V2 Open Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Executive Man aftershave.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Vintage Life Amalfi Basil Lemon Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar brush. I did two passes with the Kamisori shavette razor with a Feather Artist Club blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Got some rain this week, but not to much. Excellent shave with the Above the Tie SE1. I think my favorite SE blade is the Feather Professional, it never disappoints.

Considering how light this aluminium wonder is, it's very effective with no pressure required.
The Salter soap always puts a smile on my face and leaves the skin well nourished.
