Thank you Danny. I was impatient so I did use a product to speed up the antiquing on the brass.

    Amalfi Basil Lemon
    Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar
    C.V. Heljestrand
    Heljestrand Wedge
    CWR
    Pinaud Lilac Vegetal

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Vintage Life Amalfi Basil Lemon Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar brush. I did two passes with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor with a Heljestrand Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It's good stuff. Here are my impressions in a previous post. West Coast Shaving still has some sets for sale, and the EdT is still available on Lather Bros' site.

A cracking Micromatic Monday shave. Every time I use the Proraso Red splash, I think, I must do this more often.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

    Arran Aromatics - Bay citrus
    Accoms SE - V2 0n No 2 plate
    Feather Pro [ 6 ]
    Tuff Green A/S Lotion

I did Shave with the Accoms yesterday, but visiting in Son and Family in NE London in the morning, decided to drive to Bedford,to watch one of my Athletes run in the English Age Group Championships. Made it just in time, she made
the Final too. After driving home and feeding not all in the mood for doing SOTD report.

This is my 6th consecutive Shave with the Occam, and again got a trouble free Shave, with an ultra close finish. In fact I am starting to feel as though my skin needs a rest from successive ultra close Shaves, maybe won't push it too much tomorrow.

B&M Latha Taiga (almost gone and I miss you already!)
Vintage Simms with 24mm Maggard's SHD bulb knot
    Nivea Sensitive

This was my first shave with this knot. So far, a great experience. Only a touch of funk when it got wet. It combines my other two favourites of the moment--the softness of my TGN Premium Silvertip and the bushiness of the TGN 2-band but to a greater degree. A soft face massage while you shave!

I am about 4-5 shaves into my SE journey. So far I am getting good shaves--closer to BBS than with my DEs. It isn't as comfortable as a DE during the shave for some reason but better than a DE post-shave so who knows. I will keep with it for a while to keep improving; it seems to be all about angle. My one complaint is that is is still hard to get under the nose.

    Omega 11137 boar
    Tabac soap
    Occams SE-V2, No2 plate
    Feather Pro [ 7 ]
    Tabac A/S Lotion

My 7th consecutive Shave with the Occams, they all have been trouble free and resulted in supremely close all round finishes. The handle may look odd, but I have adapted to using it and now find it to be very manoeuvrable and is possibly the best Razor I have for working around the neck. There is criticism of the screw fixing of the interchangeable plates, but so far I have found no need to change plates as the setting provided by plate 2 is ideal for dealing with my "Need to Shave Daily" beard. I will as a matter of curiosity try plate 3.

On Todays Shave I did not push to get the closest of Shaves, but still the overall finish is still superior to those I get with other Razors. So far I have no regrets buying the Razor, which is one I will reach for when I require a trouble free Top Notch shave.
