A great pic as always, Clint. Love the simple, sleek General.
I believe FragranceNet has ADP aftershaves about as reasonable as you’d get.

Very nice pic, Jim. Everyone is speaking highly of that scent. Is it based on an existing cologne?

I know that I have enough straight razors, but there was a 6/8 Fili Inox Sq point that I bid on Ebay. I am ticked that a sniper robbed me of it at the last second of the auction. My bid of 81 dollars was beat by 5 dollars. It was shave ready and looked in excellent condition. Oh well, I saved 81 dollars. With that savings, I decided to go to the next level in this hobby. I decided to get lapping films to seriously start honing my razors. I bought 25 sheets of 3, 1 and .3 microns films. The sheets are 9" × 6.5 ". I could cut them in thirds and that would be 225 " mini sheets all for $39. Realistically, I would only need the 1 micron for most of my honing needs, but it is nice to have the others as the need arises. Also freeshipping for orders over 25 dollars, so that's another reason why I purchased the other sheets. In case anyone wants to check lapping films, the company is Specialized Supplies and you can order online. They are based in Texas. For more info look up Mike Baker on you tube about lapping films.

I'd do Platinum, second choice is the barbershop one (American Blend, I believe).

    Thanks, Jason!
If I heard right, it is based on an existing scent, Rod @ezlovan said what it was but I don't remember. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Thank you again for making the beautiful brushes for the Meet Up!

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

Rod told us the scent it was based on - but nobody seems to remember. Too much conversation and chaos. I know I've compared running the meet up (or even getting it set up) as an exercise in cat herding. I wish I had a video of the actual event. You'd all have a great view of exactly what I'm talking about. I'm not complaining. It's always fun and entertaining. And quite satisfying to see the guys get together and have so much fun for a weekend.

I have emailed Rod to ask him for the scent profile again as well as how the soaps will be available to the larger group. He spent the weekend in STL with his family. He was kind enough to join us for breakfast and deliver the soap. When he wakes up from his mini-vacation and is sufficiently coherent to reply I'll pass it on!

Thank you Jason. I’m enjoying the General. I’ll give them a look. ADP has so many choices. I want to go buy one of the box stores and have my wife help me pick out one before I order.

Thanks, Clint! Buying the films is more practical. It is just very rare to get a shave ready N13 filarmonica that is second generation in that condition for under 90 dollars.
