Back Home!!!
It was great to see everyone at the meetup, I am too jet lagged to list out the names. It was fun meeting people for the second and also meeting new people. A very diverse and interesting group.
Like Randy, I had my own version of planes, trains and automobiles Sunday. I was getting ready to head out when I got a text from American saying my flight was delayed, which of course meant I would not be able to make my connection. While I Chris and I were trying to find alternatives for the connection I got another text, my flight was cancelled and they wanted to rebook me on later flight that would get me into Vegas after midnight.
Having a bad feeling about this Chris and I turned our Google-fu loose and looked for other possibilities. I found a flight on Delta and booked it online, then they sent me a message I had to call them to complete the payment. Never had that before. While I waited on hold I got another text message that my rebooked flight on American was delayed.
I was on hold for an hour and then Chris suggested we just drive out to the airport and just pay at the counter. I stayed on hold the whole time until I walked up to the counter, fortunately, no line and I was able to pay. We headed out for lunch and then back to the hotel to wait for my new flight. After lunch I got a new text, American had cancelled my rebooked flight and was booking me on an even later flight and I would get to Vegas.... who knows. Fortunately, I had booked the Delta flight.
This was the setup I used for the trip, A Karve F plate and a Feather DX along with my Everset brush.
After a very long flight over the Pacific and a few hours at home, I had to go into the office. It felt good to have a proper SR shave in my the comfort of my den. The edge on the straight felt so much smooother than the Feather Pro or DE blades. The results are the same just more comfortable. The edge on the Friodur was like velvet and very sharp. The planets aligned and the shave was epic.

This shave also completed my EDBIO with a soft Shavemac.
