  1. It's 97f (36.1 Canadian ;) ) and blazing sun on the Colorado prairie...enough for today.

Go ahead and let everyone know they may take the rest if the day off.

If your plan for the rest of the afternoon doesn't involve charcoal, frosty beverages and possibly handmade cigars...you need to get your life together!

    That is all. Carry on.
  2. Not quite there yet, Jason. Probably toward the middle of July.

New-ish Mexican lunch counter on the corner of 21st and Bromley in Brighton, CO, USA. It's called Taco Palace, and it's great.

  7. Thanks, Danny! I thank the good Lord that I am able to do a very thorough research and weigh the pros and cons for each situation. Everyone has different abilities and financial situations that will influence their decisions in this hobby. In my case, lapping films seems the way for me at this time. If others want to go synthetic or natural stones, then that's great! Honing is essential to maintain straights and there are many choices to do it. It's the ticket price for entering the Dark Side of the Moon.
  8. Randy, thanks for the HAD warning! Like I mentioned earlier, it's the price of straight razor shaving.
  9. Those remind me of a place we’ve got here called Cholo Soy, and it is full on legit! Fresh hand ground corn tortillas are made on the spot and everything is fresh, including the pulled pork that is wood smoked on premesis. We probably eat there once a week, and I don’t think I can go back to what I once knew as “Mexican food” ever again!

  15. Ding ding ding! We have a winner. I’d say that combo would be considered basic in every Japanese-Italian household, worldwide.
