Saturday Straights Shave Cold Water Rinse Jeeves of Hudson Street Shave Soap Jayaruh #369 Synthetic J.A. Henckels 5/8 CWR Pinaud Clubman My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Jeeves of Hudson Street Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #369 Synthetic brush. I did one pass with the J.A. Henckels 5/8 razor. It was very smooth and left little for the clean up. I decided to use my Enders Speed Razor with my new blade holder and Personna blade for the clean up and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Salaam aleikum! My Egyptian-style SOTD: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Astra Green day 7 Egyptian Ingram SC Prep ASB Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Chabrawichi 555 Cologne Although the Astra Green blade helped me get an excellent shave there’s no use kidding myself - it’s ready now for the garbage. The Egyptian version of Ingram is IMHO far superior to the British one because it lathers easier, it holds its consistency so much better, and its menthol sensation is stronger. The Prep and the Alcolado Glacial felt so chilly as well as soothing - a perfect combination for a hot, humid day like today. The Chabrawichi cologne is also from Egypt, and it has a lovely lemony/lavender scent. It costs perhaps two bucks in Egypt!
