That is what drawed me in but when you get one in your hand you can really appreciate the fine machine work.

Thank you. How about today’s adventures? We went to a small town in the mountains and I picked up a couple of goodies.

First is a nice W. Greaves & Sons chopper that should clean up nicely.

The second is kind of cool. It’s a buffer from the estate of an old Jeweler that might be useful for cleaning up razors.

The motor is an old reversible Hamilton Beach sewing machine motor.

Thanks for your support, Rick! I will view this as a great opportunity to share as a newbie with this technique. I will have the proper disclaimers, point out the different variables that can affect the honing process and be quite thorough. I will let everyone know when I will start. Like I mentioned earlier, it won't be until the first, but most likely the 2nd week of July.

Thanks Joe, am very thankful and the burns were not bad enough for me to head to doctor. I will say that I have not been that scared in a long time. Fire is a beautiful thing when controlled but when not it gets ugly quick. What is interesting is that there were no open flames. I guess when the mower run out of gas and stopped the vapors must have ignited off of the hot muffler. The muffler on this mower is about 5 inches off of the ground. Take care friend.

104? :shocked003: Okay, I take that back. It was warm here today. It's not that often that we see 100+ in Indy, but it has happened.
I don't think CF makes the limes edp anymore. Just an aftershave balm. You'll have to look elsewhere. I'd like to find a decent lime myself.

Here's some reading material on the subject:

    http://www.basenotes.net/threads/46...y-are-there-so-few-lime-fragrances-these-days

Lots of ideas in there that I mean to try, if I can find samples.
