What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

Great shave, from a German made razor. I had a very sharp and smooth, 2 pass shave, that left me feeling BDBS. Zero issues, just a fine shaving razor.

6/8 West Side Grinding Co ‘Lucky Strike’, a nice mellow old German razor that shaves really well. Soap was MdC glass jar original lathered with a Persian Jar 2. A splash of Myrsol AB finished up a fantastic shave.

Tonight's shave was with a Newly Acquired, Fully Restored, and Freshly Honed razor. Very very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. Great shaving and balanced razor.

#136 J.R. Torrey. I've been going back to diamond paste after .3 micron film to enhance a Thuringian edge.

Another John & Wm Ragg Napoleon and another ivory clad beauty joins the den. @Billyfergie put a fantastic edge on it starting with a factory fresh edge that didn’t exist.

Fantastic maiden shave, built like a tank with a lovely smile, it just whisks the stubble away. It’s one of the closest shavers in my collection. A keeper for sure, currently in my top three but the competition is tough at the top.

Shave #10 on the Filly user Sub Cero, no point in posting repeat images of an edge test! Soap was ABC hard soap lathered with a Simpsons 59, and a splash of Myrsol AB finished up.
