Certain Razors I use really Shave well for me with a Twin blade, but unlike those who get 30 + Shaves from them , I seem to get 11/12 reasonable Shaves. So for me using Twins is a bit of a luxury as they are quite expensive.
Tabac Tuesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Tabac Shave Soap Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar Valet VB2 Valet AutoStrop (17) CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar brush. I did two passes with the Valet VB2 razor with a Valet AutoStrop SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Wed 3rd July The Grosvenor [ 404] mixed Williams Mug Soap Schick J3- Golden 500 Schick Twin - Japan [ 9 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion. This was the Shave I had hoped for yesterday - smooth comfortable with a nice close all round finish. Today the Blade was good to go ,yesterday past its best.The lather from the Williams played its part, and kept nicely in a small ramekin dish was easily worked by the trusty 404 - a good partnership.

Modern Williams Mug Shaving Soap Zenith B19 Fine Lather Bowl Blackland Sabre (L2/L1) GEM PTFE (7) Gentleman Jon's Alum Block Williams Lectric Shave (Used as Aftershave) Williams Aqua Velva (US Version) Gillette Coolwave Deodorant Fantastic shave. Just keeps getting better and better. The lather was so rich, creamy, and slick I could have stopped after only two passes. I did three and wanted to do a fourth. Obviously I stopped myself. BBS and I never go for BBS, it just happens. Modern Williams may be cheap, but if you take your time and work up a superb lather with it nothing beats it. Such a fantastic shave.
Blackland Vector Feather Pro Super An excellent midweek shave. I have to remind myself this is a vegetarian soap, the post shave is as good as good tallow soaps. Happy Shaving one and all.
