Mmm mmmm this is a great smelling soap. A little sweet and spicy, will probably get more use during the colder months for me. A couple of shots of the Stirling Tsuka EdT to keep this most glorious stank going all day. Have a great day and happy 4th, friends!

Paul, should you encounter another puck of vintage soap there are ways to make use of it. With my vintage Colgate Cup Soap I didn't get an acceptable lather trying to load from the puck. The outside had hardened, turned a little yellow. I cut the puck up into small sugar cube sized pieces, put it in an Old Spice mug, and added hot water. The inside of the soap puck was in great usable shape. By exposing and reforming the puck I now get good old fashioned Colgate lather. Very little scent, but the hard puck soaps age well if kept dry.

Thanks for the tip.....there are indeed a few cracks on the Burma Shave, but I think I'll just add hot water as it is, then shower to send more steam, then rinse out the water, then begin the shave process. That's what I did with my Wlliams'. I'll try your way if there's a problem.

Andrew, are you saying Stirling BoS can be used all year round or would you just use it for fall and winter.

And now more Stoylin news-my 3 Frost Drops&Mentha Scrub Bath/Hand soap order is here: Doc Ezlovan flipped in a Mtn. Man A.S. balm. I was a bit startled at first, because the Mtn. Man balm was on top of the Mentha Scrub, and I thought-"Where's the Mentha"? But I saw it....problem solved.

I prefer sweeter "heavier"scent in the fall and winter and "lighter" fruity scents in the spring and summer. This doesn't mean I won't use it in warmer weather should the mood strike me but I will reach for it more in the cooler months.

So, you can use it year round, but watch out for the stinging insects!

    Ya LADIES AND GENTLEMEN-

Welcome to the 3rd edition of the 2020 Stoylin Tony Awards! I said earlier this year that the nomination decisions are becoming harder and I wasn't kidding. But that's the fun of it. Anyway, without further a do.......the nominees for Edition 3 are:

    Shave Soap-Naked And Smooth
    Brush-Synthetic, 24 x 51

Congrats, products!!!!!! Just to close this makes a return nomination for Naked&Smooth(the soap got one last year). And this is the second brush to get a nomination. All right.....see you Labor Day!!!

Great job again Paul! I have the nominated brush and love it. I do not have the soap but do have the Unscented with Beeswax which is probably the same soap as Naked And Smooth but with Beeswax and love it when I want an unscented soap.

I think you're right about the beeswax soap. And thank you(about the Tonys). That N&S would be a great compliment for my Agadir A.S.(would "bring out" the Oud scent more). JUst thinking here...thinking...thinking.
