Caffeine has an effect on skin, but the only one I'm aware of elasticity (potentially) and a slightly improved response to sun damage (which is why it's found in some sunscreens and skin creams).

I never understood the aversion to Zamac. My 37C had a great finish and, while I have moved on from DE's, if taken care of should outlive us all.

Coate’s Almond Cream today. 10 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna Med Prep still in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Bulgari Blu aftershave.

    A1D9ADBF-E493-4519-B12A-08F62E6EB2B4.jpeg Friday morning:

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Astra Green day 6
    Palmira SC
    Nivea Cool Kick ASB
    Musgo Real Classic AS Splash

No complaints about this shave even though the Astra Green is starting to get tired. This Palmira cream, from Serbia is fantastic - it has such a nice old school European scent, it lathers like crazy, and it has very good moisturizing. The Nivea Cool Kick balm has a lousy scent, (to me) but it does an excellent job of moisturizing and soothing the skin. The Musgo Real aftershave smells great and after the little sting you first get it feels very comfortable. Two passes left me almost, but not quite BBS.
