Saturday Straights' Shave Cold Water Rinse Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar J.R.Torrey 5/8 CWR Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar brush. I did the first pass with the J.R.Torrey 5/8 razor. I did a clean up pass with my Enders Speed Razor with Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Saturday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Astra Green day 7 Brion Sensitive SC Dave’s Homemade ASB Groom AS Splash I had a very hard time to get a good shave this morning because I have bursitis in my right shoulder - it was a real struggle, but I did it. The Brion Sensitive is another nice cream from Serbia that I received a couple of weeks ago and I like it a lot. It has a mild, but nice minty/soapy scent, it lathers well, and it has a slight cooling sensation as well as very soothing postshave care. Dave’s balm is absolutely brilliant - I don’t know how he made it but he did everything right. The Groom aftershave is made right here in Montreal, like the matching soap and it smells beautiful. Despite the pain in my shoulder and the Astra blade having lost most of its sharpness I still managed to get BBS.
