  4. Nice setup Mark! Not your usual higher end products. I didn't even know you owned such a pedestrian brush. That O' Pro 98 is so Blue Collar and functional I recommend it when Newbies ask. The knot can be used to refresh other handles, too. Cheap plastic handle - High quality boar knot.
Paul, if or when you go shopping for your next brush that one in Mark's @Boojum1 kit is not just for Newbies. They aren't an expensive investment and last for years. West Coast Shaving has them for less than eleven bucks right now, and other suppliers don't often charge much more.

  5. Thank you Danny! It was a good shave.
Thanks Clint. More likely I put the stapler where it belonged, but have forgotten where that was. Not a full sized office style, I recalled a little purple plastic with infused silver glitter kids sized stapler. I have a clear memory of the item but no idea where it landed. The talk about de-cluttering ones environment makes sense. When you have less stuff the time to locate it...

  6. Could be the puck I got a slice of had been setting unused since it was in a Soap Pass Around. Most often I read it's "soapy" scented. That product comes in such a cool looking dish I'd have to go deluxe and order more than just the puck.

  17. It's going to be a no shave day for me today, as I have just been too busy this morning around the house. If I shave now, it will screw up a nice Sunday morning shave. I hope everyone has a great day!

    AoS Lavender~~Simpson KH4~~Dovo 6/8
More sweat pre-shave today. This time it was hand-till a strip next to where a new sidewalk was poured.

Lots of rocks and concrete and weeds.
    Done.
The Dovo took some refreshing laps on the Shapton 16K, dried off and was still
hungry for more of a workout, so additional laps were performed on a CrOx-coated linen strop,
and finally 40 final laps on my SRD strop. Phew!
Wonderful is a perfect word for the AoS lavender line of products.
I used to have a bottle of the pre-shave oil, but that went buh-bye.
I think it's safe to assume the Keyhole has ceased dropping bristles. None today. :happy036:
Blinded by the shiny lather and the glimmering razor , I squinted slightly and
    performed a simple two-pass shave.
The feedback from the blade is almost excruciating, it's that loud.
    Paused to insert earplugs....
    DFS in two.
Alum, Thayer's and the duo of AoS gel and balm completed an excellent Saturday shave.
