Thanks Joe, I would start grading my shaves but I am afraid I would end up in detention.......to many bad memories there. :happy102:

Paul, the brush Mark @Boojum1 used. I have two of the very same; one in it's original handle been using since '15, the other bought new and the knot placed in a Rubberset 400 type handle.. The name is Omega Professional 10098. The link is to the lowest priced (before shipping) I found online. They start out on the stiff side which works well for loading hard soaps. More use softens up on the tips, but the bristles maintain that stiffness for easy loading. It's a very traditional style for the shape that fits the hand well.

I haven't experienced and PAA products yet. They certainly do have a wide range of options with several that I find of interest. If/when I get the itch I'll look to see if they do samples!

Careful how you ask that question. Natalia might show up for a surprise session. Good news is she's not skipping "leg day". When you get to the interview portion of the video (1:18), close your eyes and picture her face. Don't listen to her voice...

I have two myself. One in the original handle that has only had a couple of shampoos and the other with thirty uses. I can really see the difference in your knots, my two look about the same as one another. I'm looking forward to the day they are as well broken in as your 2015 brush.[IMG]

Thank you Jim. I’ll look into getting the GE. My wife is traveling much more international now. I’ll have a couple of international flights over the next several years.

Have a safe trip and enjoy the family stuff.

The more I wear this watch the more I like it. I ordered a leather strap for it too.

    Don't forget the sunscreen :signs136:

Not in a boat with a foot of sidewall. Those are meant to be paddled or poled through shallow stagnant backwaters. They do make nice vehicles to gather farmed crawfish.

I have Global Entry and pre-check, they do make travel a little easier. If you are going to travel also get an APEC card. There are special lines for immigration and security at the participating countries, which almost all of them. It can save a huge amount of time.

Sunday Shave: First shave after a touch up and I expected an excellent edge but just had an acceptable edge. Yesterday was Tabac with warm water and today was Tabac with cold water, no difference in quality of lather. An acceptable shave as I had a weeper under my chin that stoped with some alum.

    Razor: Koraat 7/8
    Strop: Herold Russian leather
    Brush: Darwin Drake
    Pre: Proraso
    Soap: Tabac
AS: Enhanced Florida Water AS, Speick ASB
    Scent: Tabac

Saturday night July 6 - first shave of the month

Delta Echo refurbished Gillette Fatboy on 4 / Personna Lab Blue (4)
Semogue Owners Club cherrywood Tuxedo brush
Stirling Iced Pineapple shaving soap and splash

No Cinco de Julio popsicle stick shave for me this year. In fact, no shave of any kind. Tonight I mowed down the growing beard with the ever-reliable vintage Fatboy. The iced soap and splash provided a refreshing break in today's muggy weather. Two passes to a drama-free DFS-. Only a minus because I noticed afterwards that I missed a patch just under my chin. Oh well, I will get it tomorrow...

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
