Yesterday’s adventure. Entrance to Pikes Peak.

And.... then I switched to the DSLR for PP images, and no way to transfer those while traveling.
Pikes Peak was definitely different than last time I drove to the top, it wasn’t paved then. Sounds like that happened around 2002. 76 degrees at the base, 43 at the top (14,115 feet). Snowed, sleeted and was partly cloudy all at the same time. Also, right now, you can only drive to about 12,500 feet as they have tons of construction going on. The last part is shuttle buses to the top. New gift/donut shop, hotel and restaurant being built on the summit. Still an awesome view though.
Rest of the day was Colorado Springs shopping and exploring.
Today is Seven Falls and some canoeing.
Lastly....all ya gotta do to see the best

towing trucks, is look at what is pulling 70% or more of all the travel and 5th wheel trailers up and down the highways, especially when it’s hilly.
@brit had it right long ago.
Great images, shaves, and fun all going on!
