I don't know if that is a good thing. Clint's @clint64 shave are like caculus and mine are like....................
The Feathers are growing on me....that did not sound right. The more I use the Feather blades the more I like them.....thats better.
I am referring to your use of awesomeness to describe a member's shave. On a side note, in my younger days, I used to do shots of Alabama knockouts. I don't drink anymore, but it should be renamed Alabama Awesomeness.
SOTD July 12th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap EDRIO # 92 GE Jones Shake Sharp Sharp Star (4) Stirling Boar (24mm, Frigate Class) Tabac RR Blue Barbershop AS A very eclectic shave this morning. And the the parts came together in a synergiznistic manner. The Tabac made a wonderfully slick lather for Sharp Star to do it's work. The Shake Sharp really allowed the blade to sing as it severed the whiskers at the skin level. The Blue Barbershop AS was applied without any hint of sting and had a nice mild menthol cooling affect. Smooth and smelling great! Have a great day and weekend my friends! TGIF! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Did not know about Alabama knockouts....I don't drink but I am surprised I have not heard about them. You have taught this Alabama boy something about Alabama. Take care and I love the new Stirling order.
I have to agree. I find my Focus shavette out shaves my straights. And obviously the plastic doesn't bother me there either. I've read that many barbers demand the Dovo due to the ability to use a longer blade over a DE only type. I can see why a commercial barbering concern seeking a longer blade would choose Dovo. Even though Feather AC are reputed to be king of the hill, sometimes you have to look at economics when the gubbament says one and done. The new French straight I have is the closest edge I've got to the shavette. I sent a couple out the other day, see what I get. BTW, have you run a teflon coated Russian Blade through it yet. I love Voskhods and GSB in the shavette over my normal fave, Feather.
Thanks Danny, some shade and a slice of watermelon, does it get any better? Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
