Yes I have used a Voskhod on my shavette! As far as using a DE 1/2 or the long blades, I prefer the long blades because it is similar to using a regular straight. The other thing I want to say is that the blade holder covers the toe so that you don't have to worry about poking your face or neck!
Bill the Corvette dwells in the basement and not on the carport. You do not put fresh Arko and a Corvette close....this could happen. Poor guy just went to the store for a stick of Arko!
It is a sweet drink made of Sloe Gin, Southern Comfort, Vodka and Orange Juice. It tastes like punch and gives you one as well. There is a similar drink called the Alabama Slammer, the difference is the vodka in the Knockout is replaced by amaretto (Italian almond liquor).

Yes, we started yesterday with two smaller groups. The full band comes in on Monday for three weeks worth of practice. School starts on August 8 and I give them a few days off before school starts.
