Some time ago, I purchased a Timeless Bronze razor. I love it and was wondering how many owners of the Bronze prefer it patina'd and how many like it to keep it's polished look. I myself tried the patina route, but I have OCD when it comes to keeping things shiny and looking like new, so today I polished it back to (almost) new condition. How do you like your Bronze to look?

I don't have the Timeless Bronze yet, but I plan on one soon. I did have a Krave for awhile, which is brass and I much preferred keeping it polished.
When I get the Timeless Bronze, I will be doing the same. There are stages, when patina look nice, but for the most part, it just looks dirty.

Agreed. I tried to like the patina, just couldn't do it. It went for a long time because I was trying to clean it by hand. A few weeks or so ago, I bought a buffing wheel for my bench grinder and tried it. Now I can get the razor back to looking new in about 10 min.

I had one. Shaves great. Couldn't stand the tarnishing. Looks lousy when tarnished. I polished and polished and polished to keep the razor looking good. Sold it! I would not call that PATINA!

I've seen a couple of Timeless bronze razors where the owner had it a) Nickel plated, b) Cerakoted.
Both looked great, but I preferred the Nickel.
Maybe Gold plate (or Rhodium) would be good too.
End of problem although you would have nearly doubled the price of the razor.
I think I'll stick to my Stainless (modern) and my Gold (vintage).

Im expecting my timeless bronze to arrive tomorrow or Tuesday. Personally i will let the patina do its thing. You can always polish it again down the road since its bronze.

I enjoy the antique look of aged bronze.

I have a Timeless bronze and a Karve and I keep both clean but not really polished. I buff them with a clean cloth.

Call me crazy but I use Nu Finish on my Timeless and Karve . Works.

Yes. Technically not a polish so no material is being lost..

I'm going to have to give the Nu Finish a shot. I'm a little OCD and can't stand for my Bronze to not to shine like a diamond in a goat's butt. It looks so gorgeous sitting on my vanity in the stand all shined up.
