Hi all Haven't had time to catch up on things this morning but will do that later. Changing things again here in the den to keep it fresh I went with a razor I'm fond of. Even though it's a cheap razor I still get a great shave when paired with a sharp blade. The Dollar store Assured Buck razor. Now changing soap to some Wool Fat, a soap I've had trouble with in the past, very hard water. I took my time and really loaded the brush well, that's the secret to this stuff. No blooming, just light on the water and a heavy loaded brush here. Got a nice thick lather, to thick, after the lather formed I was able to thin it to where I like it, adding water as I went. Because it's Monday, I pulled out the Menthol for a treat, nice! 2 passes on the face, change the blade, 2 passes on the head. A great shave, no issues, ready for the day. A little Nivea to soften things up too. To all Enjoy tp
Thanks, Joseph! The seller had it listed as a '46, I think it's a '41 though. I don't know much about vintage Gillettes so I could be wrong. From what I've read they shave the same, so I'm happy. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thanks, Joseph. That's the picture that led me to believe he was selling a "41. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
You got the desirable model, James. Great shaver and one of the true 'unicorns' of collectible Gillettes.
