Rocket Sharp Star (1) eShave White Tea (free sample) RazoRock Plissoft Maol Grooming Marlogue Wood I am 90% certain Sharp Star is just a rebadged Rapira Platinum Lux. The eShave cream smells completely like grapefruit, not tea, and is less slick than any of the (great quality, granted) soaps in my cupboard. Still shaves OK but I wouldn't buy it. Marlogue Wood starts off with a prominent nose of fresh sawn cedar planks with a touch of juniper berries, we'll see where the scent evolves from here. Decent shave overall. Off in the field commissioning a project this morning so I ate breakfast for the first time in months (protein shake and an apple)

July 16th Proraso PS Red Tabac SS Semogue OC Cherry Wood Boar MaxiFli Gold GJ Alum Cella AS Balm Tabac EdC 2nd use of the Maxfli Gold 100 straight. Another hefty Japanese western ground razor. It did some CrOx, linen and leather laps, and went on to give a 2.5 pass DFS-. Calling it a DFS-, as I had two weepers, a landing oops on my chin, another an ingrown hair (I think) on my lower left cheek from shaving with a DE on vacation (seems to be a common spot when using a DE), and then I had a landing oops on the crease of my nose where the razor caught, felt it, but no crimson or weeper was revealed (whew!). GJ alum quickly disposed of the two obvious weepers. Tabac Tuesday. Semogue Boar and Tabac....explodes lather goodness within 4-5 seconds of starting to swirl. Great face feel while shaving, super slick and creamy. Cella AS Balm (just a smidgeon), and then some of the Tabac EdC. Wifey approved setup for the day. Face feel still great 4 hours after shave (early morning shave, later post). Caught up a good bit on the thread last night....still going though. Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone!
