All this week's shaves are with the South African made bundubeard coffee puck, and man is this stuff fantastic. I could literally get by using this and arko alone, absolutely fantastic stuff. I have the 250g puck, so this thing is an absolute monster, and last time i checked they were about 95 rand l, which is just under 7 dollars, so rediculously good value for money. I decided to bin the injector blade after 18 beautiful shaves, stay tuned for the next shave which will be my first shave with the pearl OC!

    Razor: schick injector
    Blade: schick platinum ultra (18)
    Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave

  6. Gillette Vector, Palmolive Classic. I gave up trying to find DE blades in Hanoi, just too darn hot to be schlepping around the city. I'll deal without for another couple days.[IMG]

Meißner Tremonia soaps are, in my opinion, very efficient.
Alas, for my tastes, their fragrances are... 'curious'.
Today I used Wild Oranges which really smell lihe a fresh orange, squeezed with its peel.
However, notwithstanding I like citrus fragrances, I do not too a defined food smell: tangerine, coffee, hamburger and fries...
As I would not enjoy eating something smelling like lavender!

But, all in all, a really sumptuous shave!

Henri et Victoria Cognac & Cuban Cigars today. 20 seconds to load the Henri et Victoria High Mountain White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Burberry Brit aftershave.

More than satisfied with the Uomo SHD Silvertip. Used the Rex/Polsilver from 5 to 3.5 with excellent results. Love the Apricus!

    Williams Wednesday's Shave
    zcws.jpg

    Cold Water Rinse
    Williams Mug Shaving Soap
    Tom's 3D Printed Brush
    Enders Speed Shaver
    Schick Proline
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. I did two passes with the Enders Speed Shaver razor with a Schick Proline SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I must say, this may be my new favorite razor/blade combo. This was a most excellent shaving experience.

I originally wanted to use Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill, but something else got in the way. Here’s the whole story!

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Gillette day 3
    Hamol SC
    Prep ASB
    Pinaud Bay Rum AS Splash

I was sort of in a hurry this morning and the Hamol cream was right in front of me so I grabbed it. It gave me its lovely fresh, minty, barbershop-type scent with tremendous lather and a slight cooling sensation which felt very welcome on this warm morning. While I was massaging my face with the Prep I enjoyed the cooling, soothing sensation so much, and after the little sting from the Pinaud Bay Rum when I first slapped it on, my face felt great. Not even my barber could have shaved me closer and he’s a master straight razor man!

  18. Shaves on Williams Wednesday are not usually as comfortable as the other days. The end results are fine, however it makes me appreciate how well we have it now with all of the great artisan vendors available in today’s market.
