Wonderful photo and shave, Clint! \ Thank you, Danny! Thank you, Terry! The H1 is a neat razor. Looks like a novelty but works really well. Thank you, Joe! Thank you, Mark!
Really nice, Blair! How would you describe the scent of Blue Fougere? I remember RazoRock describing it as a scent some folks would easily recognize but they never say what it's close to. And you can never go wrong with The Fat.
Thank you Mark. I really like the knot. I find it to be a very good blend of performance and price. Try and stay cool.
Thank you Mark! So...to my newbie wet shaving nose, it's almost a tie between the Razorock Blue Fougere AS and the Wholly Raw La Fougere Parfaite AS, which I've seen referenced to being a clone of Brut AS. Yesterday, I was in a supermarket (WinCo) which has a decent shaving section and I took a quick whiff of the standard green Brut bottle (which I've never owned). I could have sworn I was smelling the WK La Fougere Parfaite....I may be totally wrong, still learning the nuances of scents....so YMMV! And I've used The Fat a good bit, mostly as I started DE shaving earlier this year, not so much with straights. While the aroma is a little generic to me, I will use it more often now. Thank You Clint, sincerely appreciated!
Rocket Sharp Star (2) First Canadian Vetiver - picked it up on sale at the same time as my Purely Skinful samples (which I will get around to using soon) Razorock plissoft Chiseled Face Summer Storm This croap is the softest one I own, smells a bit funky out of the container but nice on my face. Great performance!
Rubbing my face in the office now... this is actually the closest shave 2-pass shave I've had in a while. Two thumbs up for First Canadian Shave soap
Hanoi is a marvelous place for local food. I'm only here for four days and am seriously regretting not planning to stay longer. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Nice shave, Colin! @jtspartan is a fan of First Canadian Shave. He sent me a sample of Maximo Gomez and it was outstanding.
There are tons of Vietnamese restaurants in the states, of course, but nothing I've had has looked anything like the real deal that you posted. Atlanta has some good spots on Buford Highway and we've found a terrific spot in Birmingham, but I sure would enjoy having the authentic food in that environment.
Yep the range of choices and quality are both on a whole other level. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
