I have a shave factory branded omega 10019 which looks exactly the same. Are you sure its synthetic? I have never seen synthetic fibres fall like yours and it looks damp, which synthetics dont do?
It does seem an Omega! They definitely do not seem synthetic and for the reasons you list. And... last but not least, their looks.

TOST Thursday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Morning TOST Shaving Soap Tom's 3D Printed Brush Enders Speed Shaver Schick Proline CWR Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Morning TOST Shaving Soap face lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. I did two passes with the Enders Speed Shaver razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thursday morning: Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Gillette day 4 Stirling Glacial Margaritas in the Arctic SS Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Bleu de Chanel EdP As if the regular Stirling MITA isn’t cold enough this Glacial version has three times more menthol in it so you could imagine the freeze it gives. The scent and lather, as well as the postshave care are all the exact same, but unless you can tolerate intense menthol DON’T and I mean DO NOT touch this soap because you’re going to suffer and I mean SUFFER. Even the Glacial Unscented balm is as cold as hell, although the soothing and moisturizing are fantastic. The Alcolado Glacial splash felt frigid in a heavenly way. Three passes gave me a banger of a BBS shave!
○Senator/Super Stainless ○Glacial Obsidian 2 pass BBS I like this soap. Not cold but close to it...very, very cooling and wonderful licorice fragrance.
Thank you, Doug! That brush was a PIF from @clint64. He restored it some time ago. I really enjoy it.
Thursday 18th July Pears Glycerine Soap Palmolive Shave Stick VIG Shaving 24mm Pure Badger Brush Schick E2 (Canadian) with a Schick Blade Witch Hazel Palmer's for Men Moisturiser Blue Stratos AS An excellent 'utilitarian' shave. I say that only because I grew up with Palmolive and familiarity often breeds contempt. 3 passes for a face feeling finish.
