Not that I'd ask OUR Joe @Trigger to do the job, but there is precedence. I may have to find a digital copy of that film. Lloyd Bridges, Robert Stack, Abe Vigoda, Ossie Davis. " My father says that almost the whole world is asleep. Everybody you know. Everybody you see. Everybody you talk to. He says that only a few people are awake and they live in a state of constant total amazement." Patricia, one of three characters played by Meg Ryan.
After work today I stuffed it in a repurposed applesauce cup that was about the right size. Also did a test lather, Purely Skinful can definitely handle a LOT of water... it just doesn't really need it
The acrylic does hold the threads well. This was the first one I made and that was a concern of mine as well. I am sure you could torque down on and strip it but a good snug and she hold great.
Did a little polishing this afternoon. After my gumbo shave and how well the Rockwell/Karve combo did I decided to step it up a notch. I had an extra 6S cap and I polished it up. I purchases an extra Karve "C" plate frome Robert @Frijolero and polished it up as well. I did not want to mess with my plate that came with my Karve set. Put it all together on the Weber bulldog handle. This one will be up on the next shave. Oh yeah, Charlie @wristwatchb there are no inclusions on the Rockwell top plate.
Thanks Clint. Polishing razor parts and shaving brush handles can be addicting and a curse at the same time. Hope work is not overbearing right now. Take care!
It's a beauty, Danny. I didn't realize Bondo did such a good job filling those small craters in the cap.
Lived that, I have to wear compression socks, I wear my normal socks over them. I now have a sock drawer too, with all the same type and color of socks. Grab n go, got that one set up for me. My other socks are in a different place. Don't use sandals, the knee high socks are to much for that, even for me, just good hicking trail shoes. Well, sounds like things are pretty much normal. Thanks Rick tp
Hey Yo everyone! Not gonna have much time in the morning to do a proper report, so seeing I've chosen the tool of destruction, I'll just post it tonight. Decided to go full old school for tomorrow's job. First I pulled out my Gillette double ring and loadded it with a Nacet. Old school crazy means an old after shave recipe, Clubman Pinaid. The shaving soap needs to be an old recipe too, Tobac. I have to admit ya can't do an old school shave, without an old school brush. Having some brushes bought in the past, got out the borax and cleaned up a few of them. I decided on the Ever-Ready 100T for the morning shave. That's what's happening for the Friday morning shave. I did a test lather with the brush and soap, I think it's ready. The soap works great, and the brush is working great too. Till tomorrow Enjoy tp
