I have a question about the Stirling bath and shampoo soap bars. Dr. Bronner's liquid bath soap has been banned from our house because it leaves a thick film that's hard to clean off our shower surfaces. The liquid shower soap from Wally World doesn't, so that is what I use. Do you notice any unusual film buildup using Stirling products? Stirling posted on their FB page that they're planning to introduce some liquid shower soaps. I posed this question to them, and they say it doesn't leave the thick film. I'm curious about your experiences with the bar soap. Thanks.
Thanks Jim! We plan to check out a little downtown Italian restaurant next to the theater as well. It should be a fun evening.
July 19th Razor: '41 Gillette Ranger Tech Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2) Brush: SOC boar Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat PAA Galactic witch hazel PAA unscented Star Jelly AS: Pinaud Lilac Vegetal Good morning! Giving the Fatboy a Friday off so I can continue a mini focus with the RT. Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. I did get some light feedback from the alum on my neck. Second shave with the RT and still enamored by it. Super smooth razor. Have a great Friday! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
July 19, 2019 Supply Co V2 with 2 dot plate Personna Rudy Vey Rover with TGN Finest MdC Fougere Myrsol Agua Balsamica A fantastic shave to start the day. The little Rover whipped up the MdC with ease. This was my soap I used for my rule during the first month of the 30 Day Thread. Since that time I always get some of my best shaves using MdC and today was no exception. Three passes and touch ups ended with the baby in hand. A splash of Balsamica and I am off to my office for the day. Happy Friday everyone. I hope you guys have a great day.
Yum! Italian food! We were doing without until we came across an almost no carb "pasta". We've been doing spaghetti or carbonara once a week since. Not exactly the same but close enough. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thanks Jim. We love Italian food, but we have to watch it as well. We will check into the no carb pasta. I took my Bride out for her Birthday yesterday, so I'll be back "on the program" after tonight's little adventure.
Thank you, Jim! I don't recall any kind of film from a Stirling bar soap. In fact, they seem to be one of most clean-rinsing soaps I've used. Thank you, Clint! Yes sir, Fat Friday! Wonderful photo, Jim. That vintage Veg bottle is pretty cool. Terrific shave and photo, Clint! Happy Friday.
I find great freedom in artistic license, giving full vent to my immaturity, and in just plain making things up. My Bride simply calls it Charlie's World.
Thanks Charlie.....it's a relief indeed. Don't look for me to be Mario Andretti right off the bat though . His gym advice does make sense.
I know you're withholding names to protect the innocent, but......................................... you talkinabout me, Mr. Cawtuh???? And by the way, there is a Piggly in Helper, Utah.
