Thanks Terry. Those are wise words. I need to slow down and pay attention. If I had fallen like I did on concrete steps, I'd be in the hospital today...or worse. I stood up quickly, felt my face and wiggled my nose to check for loose parts, literally felt all my front teeth to make sure they were still there, and stumbled back to my seat. I blew past a nice lady that offered to help me. I don't know how I kept from breaking my glasses. Just plain dumb.
I believe Chris that the "technique" as you call it is being Discussed, in isle 12, at Piggly Wiggly. tp
I have progressive bifocals, they mess up my field of depth when looking down, going down steps is the worst. When its dark or twilight is the time I have the most problems. I have resorted to removing my glasses to keep me from kissing dirt n stone. But I'm afraid I'm gonna take the fall to, just trying to be careful. tp
July 20 No shave today. I did my face prep and finished with USB and Alt-Innsbruck aftershave. I added a couple of shots of Aramis for good measure. To my nose, it seems to pair well with the aftershave. I'll have a decent growth to shave in the morning before church. I've been doing my face prep/cleaning with shave soap. I have a ton, so I don't worry about running out. Actually it leaves my face feeling moisturized and lightly scented. Anybody else do this or see any downside to it? We were going to see another old movie tonight, but I think we'll skip. I hope you all are having a great weekend.
Now you have me thinking, Terry. It was dimly lit, and I wear progressives too. I never stopped to think how this could have contributed to my untimely demise. One thing I didn't do was grab the handrail. Just not thinking...or maybe thinking I was still 20. Be careful yourself, my friend. The grand kids are counting on you to chase them around...safely, of course.
Well Charlie, I have showered with a shaving soap puck. Believe it or not, it works out rather well. If you like the sent (read bay rum) it's even better. Hard to find something like that in a bar soap. Lathers great, cleans and softens the hide right nice, if I say so. I also have a not mentioned thing of not waisting the after shave. Seems there is a plenty on the hands after coating the mug and gord with it. I just rub it on the elbows. That little thing has helped a lot to stop the cracling and dryness there. I see no issues wit any of that kinda stuff. tp
thank you Terry..the shave was fantastic and for the most part they all are very similar..part of my life now is building coordinated shave sets and pic/posting them here..my new AD..fits my OCD though..
