I was in the mood for as big dose of menthol for this menthol Monday and it's sure hard to beat GLO. First shave with the RR Lupo, the first thing that I noticed what that it has a huge window of available angle adjustment. I started off with too steep of and angle and the shave was a bit tuggy. This might not have been an issue with a sharper blade, but I've always felt that the Gillette Platinum was not quite as sharp as some of the other PPI offerings. Needless to say, once I adjusted to a shallower angle (ride the cap) the shave smoothed out tremendously. After two passes all I needed was a bit of touch up to bring the baby home. This razor is deceptively efficient. I wouldn't say that it is more then medium aggressive in terms of blade feel but in terms of efficiency it competes with the likes of the ATT H2 and Blackland Blackbird IMO and perhaps might even be more efficient then the Game Changer .84. I will be curious to see how this razor performs with other blades.

How's the lemony scent on the soap? I'm more cautious with lemony scents vs my orange scents (I went Orange Chill sterling wise) due to my hesitation that they might be too artificial smelling.

 

straightish lemon to my nose...imo

 

Added to the wish list, then.

 

Shaving every 48 hours or so means either Spicy Sunday or Menthol Monday. Might try a mentholated Old Spice lather...

Lemony Orange is more Orange then lemon. It's like a glass of Orange juice with a squeeze of lemon. Wonderful scent! Stirling's lemon is very natural smelling though, nothing industrial about it. It's like cutting open a lemon and talking a whiff.

I'm sure Glacial Lemony Orange is great, but with my experience, I'd prefer getting soaps(and aftershaves)that don't have duel fragrances pitched in together. That's probably easier said than done, but for instance the Summer Breaks Soaps "101" looks great on paper, but the mix of all the scents don't work(for me). You recommended the Lemon Chill, and I think I'd like that one better....it's just Lemon(course the freeze too, but that's fine in summer).
