Our winters last about 3 months in January the average is about freezing but colder in the morning. Our winters are usually dry with just a couple of meaningful snows, in the winter we are usually under a high-pressure system so it is clear, cold and dry.

Well it's Tuesday and I broke out the Tobac and Pinaid for a great shave. Used Gillette 7'Oclock yellow, and a twist. I decided to shave the head first as opposed to the face shave first. Well, it seemed to work out. I got a nice clean 2 pass head shave then, a nice 2 pass on the mug. I'll say the blade isn't quite as sharp as a Feather blade out of the sleeve, but no pulling or tugging. The two blade per shave may be on its way out, at least for the moment anyway. Monday's head shave Face shave Late night shave last night. VDH deluxe lathers so nicely with any brush I use. The Autostrop is a razor I was always intrigued with and I thought it would be scary like a lion but it purrs like a kitten. I must have learned something about technique from my many days and nights in the 30DC. Topped this shave off with Clubman Pinaud of course! Enjoy your day gentlemen!
