July 30 Good evening guys! Straight razor shave #91 I have been waiting patiently all day for my new toy! It is a 6/8 round point Thiers Issard Spartacus. Of course, I had to wait until 5pm instead of my usual 1:30 time because my normal mailman was off today! Anyway, I used my Rocky to facelather the Proraso and I got a beautiful lather. You see the strongman theme, Rocky and Spartacus! Lol! Anyway, I don't understand how some people have a hard time with this soap. To me, it is just as easy as Stirling to lather. Normal passes and got an IBSS. The razor was sharp because I cut my thumb wiping the blade. Don't worry, it was a flesh wound, no stitches. Looks like a papercut, so no biggie. However, although it was shave ready, it wasn't all that smooth for me so I may have to Crox it next time. Finished with that Proraso aftershave. All in all, it was a nice shave. July 30th Proraso PS Red 30DC 2019 LE v2 Synthetic Proraso SC Red ShaveSmith Buster Kamisori Proraso AS Red Quick report. Busy, busy with work and family taxi duties. Mid day shower and shave. 3 pass DFS. Wonderful shave today with no shenanigans. Everything performed perfectly. Proraso does it all so well. About done with this AS....gonna gets anuther! Didn't you get a new ride, too? I'd have the same results in a No Buy as committing to a Rule. Don't think I'll ever be a Minimalist with a single setup. Not that the AD's have gone away but cabinet saturation keeps reminding me I've got enough gear.
