Black (Label) Magic! Razor: '49 Aristocrat #22 Blade: Rapira SS (*4) Brush: Yaqi Mysterious Space Soap: Yardley Black Label stick A/S Yardley Black Label. What a mighty shave. The star of this mornings performance is the soap. Yardley shaving soap is one of those shaving legends which is actually true. Its marvellous. Fantastic at everything. (I did have to re-scent this stick as the scent had all gone, but a soak in the A/S sorted that!). The brush is such a good performer for F/L. Honestly, i don't need any other brushes. The soap just explodes with this synthetic knot and its like angels kissing your face. Of course, i am falling in love with the razor as well. This (4 use) blade run has been an utter joy. Its such a good razor. Blade is done @4. Tomorrows shave has a hard act to follow!
I went through it many a time... not the most comfortable ones! Shouldn't the first be good, for the second you can get anesthetized! Get well soon!

Thursday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Sheep Soap: Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest Razor: Gillette NEW Long Comb Blade: Personna Med Prep (1) Brush: Honey Farm Designs/TGN Premium Silvertip-24mmx50mm Aftershave: Stirling Gentleman w/Menthol WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest today. 20 seconds to load the Honey Farm Designs/TGN Premium Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new Personna Med Prep in the Gillette NEW LC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Gentleman aftershave. Bob
Thursday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Rapira day 4 Gilly’s Unforgettable SS Prep ASB Krampert’s Bay Rum AS Splash Bleu de Chanel EdP Today I was in the mood for a nice bay rum scented setup so the Unforgettable soap was a perfect choice. It gave me lots of beautiful lather which was so rich, slick, and protective with a comfortable postshave feeling that the Prep enhanced. The Krampert’s Bay Rum aftershave not only smells lovely, (too bad Madame doesn’t share my opinion!) it’s very moisturizing. This shave could not have been better - two passes left me smooth as a glass table top!
Thursday 1st August Pears Glycerine Soap T&H No 10 Shaving Cream RazoRock BC Silvertip Plissoft Synthetic Brush Giles Shaving Co Bowl Ikon X3 on a Bulldog with a Gillette/Wilkinson Blade Witch Hazel Aloe Vera Gel Gotas Frescas Agua de Colonia Concentrada Hombre The Razor/Blade combination mowed down the 2 days heavy growth with ease. This Spanish Cologne is a new discovery for me.....all the usual citrusy top notes....but the Hombre version has base notes of Vetiver and White Musk and I prefer it to the Original. 3 passes for a perfect Face Feeling Finish
