Thank you Mark. I really need a weekend to recover from my vacation Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh man, I just googled Neil Hamilton(who played Commissioner Gordon)and saw pictures of him as a young man. Ditto Alan Napier(Alfred the butler). YIKES.
@wristwatchb, I'm adding a bar soap to my Central Texas Soaps package order.."Clean Shave". Course I'll use it just for hand-washing, as I have with my other artisan bars.
That's a very cool setup, Patrick. If it is not classified information, where'd you find the razor? I can invoke the Cone of Silence if needed. It might take a few minutes, though. I misplaced the power cord. Sure wish I had a nuclear-powered unit like they have at Cartel World HQ.
Alabama...Maryland...Arizona...South Korea...and probably some places, razors, colognes, watches, and girls with violins we haven't heard about yet. Can't wait for the book and eventually the movie. I always liked 007 stories.
Have fun, Perry. This will be a well-deserved break between the move and the band prep. I can't think of a better place to spend the weekend. If you happen to be on Pensacola Beach, try Peg Leg Pete's for seafood. Petrella's Italian (a really cool mom and pop place) is Pensacola is good too.
Fantastic shave to start the day, Jim. Happy 30th Anniversary to you and your Bride. Have a wonderful weekend!
Great shaves and photos, everyone. Side note: has anyone heard from Fuzzy recently? I PM'd him, but no response.
Mine achieved semi-legendary status the first time I used it. It was quite an experience in rough and rowdy shaving. I will say, though, that over the years it has become one that I can get a decent shave with. There's that technique thing slipping in there again. It's bigest weakness is how light and thin the metal is. You can cut yourself on the razor itself if you aren't careful.
Charlie Since Cartel HQ approves of this razor I can divulge its origin. It came with an order of mixed Russian steel from the Bay from a Russian seller . I can retrace the details from the purchase if you want. Thanks Joseph. Was talking to the Fuzzy one a day ago. He was on his way out the door but answered me back. Said he was way behind in catching up due to work and would attempt to get up to speed when he could get a chance. He's still alive and kicking.
I agree Neal. Blade gap is substantial with blade loaded and metal seems a tad thin albeit is 5x heavier than this Chinese model Remei in top pic and balance does seem good with the long handle. Last pic is not the clearest but gives a hint of the blade gap.
Well, they are only 7 dollars on eBay, I mean, only 7 dollars and free shipping. Yea, one is on its way to the woods out here. RAD on!! Well...... tp tp
