    I will probably be a little scarce for a while. I'm starting a new job tomorrow night. Orientation was this afternoon. I also interviewed this morning for a better job. I really hope that pans out.
    The shave this morning was Castle Forbes 1445. Cream, aftershave, and EDP. Yeah, I kinda like this scent. 3.5 passes with the Gravjura set everything right. Smooth, no blood, no irritation.

    Good morning!

    Terrific travel shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. I decided to go with the monthly theme this weekend. Arko just plain works and I like the scent. Decided on the Rex because I don't remember the last time I used it. Everything came together for a wonderful shave!

    Eatin' ice cream in style! Right there is proof that when you're a kid, you can look cute doing about anything. If I were to sit outside wearing shorts, cowboy boots and a Batman shirt while eating ice cream, the police would show up to ask a few questions. Understandably so. :)
    He sure is getting big in a hurry, Andrew! Still rockin' the cute factor, too.
    Great shave setup and photo as well!

    Oh my...this all sounds familiar. It's really difficult to call someone when their phone is off. Even when they have it on them. The theory is you have your phone in case you need to call someone, but keep your phone off to conserve battery life. This has been part of many a (frustrating) discussion.

    August 3 SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette Black Beauty
    Blade: Gillette Nacet
    Brush: PAA Starcraft
    Lather: PAA Copalli
    Aftershave: PAA Copalli

    First shave with this soap, and it is an interesting scent. It has some of the soft, powdery notes to go along with a little woodiness. But, at least to me, there is a hint of SM, which keeps it from being sweet. It is nicely done. As always, the CK6 base is a nice performer. Two passes, and a DFS, really just barely missing a BBS. I am off to Houston for a training class today. I hope everyone has a great day!

    Thank you guys. We did have a good time in Barcelona. I had 2 days to explore the city on my own which was fun as well. I’m a history nut so I went to the museum that documents with Roman settlement of Barcelona. That was cool because it was actually under the current city streets.
