Ended up working until eleven, so no post for Friday until now. Stuck with the day one setup for an easy two pass shave. Off work today and Sunday, so will fire up a cigar and catch up on reading. Looking at a 95 degree day on the high plains near Denver. Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado.

    Have a great afternoon!

    :)
  7. I trust the interview will go well, Robert.
How would you describe the 1445 scent?

Myrsol Don Carlos 1972~~Simpson 90th Anniversary Astor~~Detroit National Cut Co.
Missed yesterday's shave, so I was sufficiently scrubby that I knew a straight shave would leave me BBS.
Dr. Mrs. Primo nixed the Myrsol Don Miguel 1919 and opted for the Don Carlos 1972.
There is a significant scent difference.
Took the "Motown Mauler" (do I need to copyright this, Charlie?) to the CrOx linen and followed up
with 40 laps on my SRD 3" strop; and for good measure, gave the edge another 20 laps on my
    Wladimir Savin. So there!
This soap, some might recall, was recently de-granuled using a sieve. Scooped a finger-full and
smeared it into the bottom of the above-pictured Aesop SS bowl.
I bowl-lathered the product until it was well-incorporated into Super-Badger knot and
    then proceeded to the face.
Very nice lather with sufficient slickness that both WTG & XTG passes were very easy.
The edge is very sharp and even around my chin, I was able to clear away all stubble.
Dropped my alum stick into the sink and of course it cracked. :angry019:
I cannot abide a crunchy alum stick, so I will replace it post-haste.
The Thayer's WH cooled my skin and after it was dry, I did a double-splash
    of the Myrsol AS.
    90% BBS 10% DFS.
    I call that a success.
